I decided I had it with store bought gluten free pizza. I had to brave making my own pizza crust from scratch. I got out my handy Gluten Free Gourmet book by Bette Hagman and found, Yeast-Free Rising Crust and voila! For being a gluten free crust I thought this one was pretty good. It was super easy to make and it only took about 40 minutes total, mixing, rolling, and baking. It wasn't too bad as left overs the following day.
Have you tried the Udi's pre-made pizza crust? In a pinch, Andrew and I really like it. If you pre-heat a cast iron skillet or pizza stone, and then put your (delicious topped gluten-free pizza) on it to bake, it works even better.
ReplyDeleteI usually do use Udi's pre-made crust. I was looking for a crust that had a little more thickness to it. I strongly recommend Udi's crust.
